Your selected documents are read and processed in memory on your own device. PDFapp has no document upload endpoint, account system, or document storage. PDF processing libraries and the rendering worker are served from this website. Document contents and filenames are not sent to Google Analytics.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-7VKZ0STLLD) to understand website visits and usage. The Google tag is loaded from Google, and Google Analytics may use cookies and process page addresses, browser and device information, and interaction data according to its configuration. This website analytics is separate from local PDF processing. We do not add document contents or filenames to analytics events.
Learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy. Your browser’s tracking protection or content blocker may prevent analytics from loading. The PDF tools remain usable when analytics is blocked.
Your documents
Files remain in the workspace until you remove them, clear it, or close the tab. Downloaded files stay in your downloads folder until you delete them. Clearing the workspace releases application references; it is not a secure memory wipe.
The hosting provider may process ordinary access logs such as your IP address, request path and browser information. Document contents and filenames are not included in website requests. Hosting is needed to deliver the application; after the page has loaded, document processing requires no server.
